Devil's Slide Trail is a short, moderate mountain biking route in Wyoming's Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, within the Laramie Ranger District. It's an out-and-back that gains about 472 feet in elevation over roughly 1.4 miles, with the steepest stretch at the start, where the grade reaches about 15%. The trail's high point is around 8,125 feet, and the low point is about 7,894 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie put July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run a little cooler. Slide Bail-Out, a mountain biking route, lies just 0.2 miles away. The Reynolds Hill and Vedauwoo climbing areas are within a mile, and the Valley Massif Trail is about 0.6 miles off.
