Cow Trail is a mountain biking route in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2.6 miles long and rated moderate, with a total climb of about 690 feet over the round trip. The out-and-back route starts near 8,100 feet, with the steepest stretch around 1.1 miles in, where the grade reaches about 11%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, and the station sits roughly 700 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler.
