Black Canyon Trail is a mountain biking route in the Jackson Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, and the route is nearly flat, with a high point of about 6,492 feet and a low of about 6,489 feet, so there is no significant climb to plan for. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Jackson show July highs around 79°F with lows near 41°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-20s and regular snow days from November through March. The History Trail and Big Rocks are both about 0.1 mile away. The Snake River, about 3.5 miles off, offers river fishing, and Trail Creek campground is roughly 7.4 miles away.
