Josies Ridge is a mountain biking route in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, within the Jackson Ranger District. The ride is an out-and-back of about 3.2 miles, with a total elevation gain of 1,450 feet, and it climbs from a low point of 6,710 feet to a high of 7,798 feet. The route is rated hard, and the steepest stretch comes early on, with a 42% grade at about 0.2 miles in. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Jackson, which sits about 1,600 feet lower, show July highs near 79°F and lows around 41°F, with no snow days. Winter is harsh, with January highs around 26°F and snow on about 11 days. Dogs are allowed. The route sits close to several other outings. Sink or Swim and Viewpoint Trail are both within a quarter mile, and the Jackson Hole climbing area is about 3 miles away. Curtis Canyon Campground, roughly 7 miles off, offers a place to stay.
