Skyline Trail is a mountain biking route in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, within the Jackson Ranger District. The trail is an out-and-back that runs about 11.5 miles, with a one-way elevation gain of 1,041 feet. It starts at roughly 7,653 feet and climbs to a high point of 8,167 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.8 miles in, where the grade reaches 25 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bondurant show July and August highs around 80°F with lows near 40°F, and the station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Dogs are allowed. The trail is managed by the Forest Service. The Skyline Tr hike lies just 0.1 mile away, and the Tananger Trail and Snow King Nature Trail are both within a mile. For an overnight stay, Curtis Canyon Campground is about 5.8 miles off.
