The Thomas Murphy Homestead is a historic site on Mormon Row in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, managed by the National Park Service. It is the northernmost of the homesteads along the row, with a gray stucco house, a large barn and several smaller buildings. Thomas Murphy claimed the land in 1908 and gained title in 1915, like many of the other early settlers on Mormon Row. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Moose put July highs around 79°F with lows near 43°F, and August is similar at about 78°F. Winters are severe, with January highs around 24°F and lows near 2°F. A fee is charged for a visit. The John & Bartha Moulton Barn and the Irrigation Ditch are both within a third of a mile, and the Mormon Row hike is about 0.3 miles away. Climbers can head to Blacktail Butte, about 1.6 miles off.
