State Line is a 3.5-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, within the Greys River Ranger District. The trail rises from about 7,570 feet to about 7,992 feet, a climb of 533 feet one way, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. The open season runs from May 1 to October 31. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 43°F, and July and August have the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Spring Creek Divide is about 1.2 miles away, and Camp is about 2.4 miles away. Allred Flat Campground and Allred Flats Group Picnic Site are both about 3 miles off.
