Green Lakes is an easy out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Jedediah Smith Wilderness, within the Teton Basin Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The trail is about 2.9 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 414 feet, and it runs from a low point of about 8,850 feet to a high of about 9,264 feet. The route is open year-round, and the Forest Service manages the land. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. Several other destinations sit within a few miles. Teton Crest North is about 1.8 miles away, South Leigh about 2.1 miles, and Tin Cup about 2.2 miles. For an overnight stay, Teton Canyon campground is about 5.6 miles off.
