Action Jackson is a mountain biking route in Wyoming's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Teton Basin Ranger District. It is a 6.6-mile out-and-back ride with a moderate difficulty rating, climbing about 415 feet from a starting elevation of 7,989 feet to a high point of 8,304 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 2.8 miles in, with a grade of 12 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Moran show July highs around 77°F with lows near 42°F, and snow is common from November through April. That station sits roughly 1,500 feet lower than the route's high point, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. The route starts close to several hiking trails, including Fred's Mountain and the Bannock Trail, both about 0.1 mile away, and Quakie Ridge at 0.8 mile. For an overnight stay, Reunion Flat campground is about 2.2 miles off.
