The Beartooth High Lakes Trail is an 18.3-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest, within the Clarks Fork Ranger District. The trail rises from a low point of 9,301 feet to a high of 9,985 feet, with a total elevation gain of 465 feet. It is a hard route, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and accessible, and it allows horses and bikes. It is open year-round, so it works for a trip at any time of year.
