Micro Bus Boulder is a climbing area in Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the forest's rock. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Lake Lynn weather station show May highs around 74°F and September highs around 76°F, with September also seeing the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits about 660 feet lower than the boulder, so temperatures here run cooler. John Boulder, School Yard and Giant's Slab Boulder all lie about 0.1 mile away. For a walk, Johnson Hollow Trail is roughly 1.6 miles off.
