Interp Boulders is a bouldering area in West Virginia, about half a mile from the community of Ames Heights. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Moe Area, Tuggin' Shack and Ronski Feint all within about a tenth of a mile. The Burnwood Trail also passes close by, making it easy to pair a bouldering session with a walk. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes spread across the V0 to V8 range. The easiest are Death to Smoochie and Naked Sun at V0, and the hardest is False Start at V8. The median grade is V1, so the area works for climbers of all levels. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 75°F in May to about 78°F in September, with July the warmest month at around 84°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock may run slightly cooler. Other climbing areas within a short distance include the Bridge Area, about 0.2 miles away, and the Hawks Nest Connector Trail, about 0.3 miles away. For time on the water, Manns Creek offers canoeing roughly 9 miles off.
