Angel Eye Cave is a bouldering area in Needleseye Park, a city-managed park in West Virginia. It sits right next to Needleseye Boulder Park, about 0.1 mile away, and the two climbing areas make an easy pairing for a single visit. The cave's climbing is all bouldering, with five routes ranging from V8 to V13. The hardest of them is Angel Eye, a V13 boulder first climbed by Chris Marley in 2019. New Bae and Old Bay are both V9, and Father Figure is V10. The routes are listed with their grades and first ascents, so climbers can pick a challenge that fits their level. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from the nearby Oak Hill weather station show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 75°F, with September also seeing the fewest wet days of the year. The White Oak Rail Trail and Southside Trail are both about 2.2 miles away, and paddlers can head to Dunloup Creek, roughly 4.7 miles off.
