Tin Man is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, so it works well as a stop on a broader day of exploring the area. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the sweet spots. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show May highs around 71°F and September highs near 78°F. July and August run hotter, with highs around 87°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures at Tin Man may run a bit cooler. Chaos Boulders and Icehouse, The are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and Bruce's Boulder Trail is a hike at the same distance. Snow Lakes Trail is roughly 0.8 mile off.
