JY Boulders is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing areas, with Veteran's Club and Stone's Throw both about 0.1 mile away, and Bulge Boulders at the same distance. The closest campground is Eightmile Group Site, about 0.4 mile off. The area has 17 bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V0 to V10. The easiest is Wario at V0, and the hardest is Johnny Appleseed at V10. The median grade is V4, so climbers of all levels will find something to work on. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,100 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the crag run cooler. Winter is cold, with January highs around 34°F and lows near 19°F.
