Icicle Creek is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Givler's Dome about 0.3 miles away and Wart Wall about 0.4 miles away. The area has 35 climbing routes, with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.11+. About 22 are traditional routes, 10 are sport, and two are mixed. Sample routes include Condorification (sport, 5.6), Everybody's Uncle (trad, 5.8) and Sleeping with Giants (trad, 5.11+). The median grade is 5.9+. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. A nearby weather station at Plain, WA, about 16 miles away, records typical July and August highs around 82°F with only three or four wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,400 feet below the creek, so temperatures up high run cooler. For more time outdoors, Bruce's Boulder Trail starts about 0.8 miles away, and Snow Lakes Trail is about 1.4 miles off. Eightmile Group Site offers camping at a similar distance.
