Straightaway Boulders is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington. It sits among several other named climbing areas, with Roto Wall, The Millennium Boulder and Eagle Feather Buttress all about a tenth of a mile away. That makes it easy to pair with those neighbors on a single visit. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes run from V3 to V14. The Freezer is the easiest at V3, while The Penrose Step is the hardest at V14. Answer Man is a V6, and I know, Dyno! is a V9. That range gives climbers plenty of options for different skill levels. Late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Leavenworth run from highs around 71°F in May to 78°F in September, with July and August averaging highs near 87°F and lows around 50°F. For time off the rock, Bruce's Boulder Trail is about 0.6 miles away, and Eightmile Group Site offers camping roughly 1.3 miles off. Snow Lakes Trail is about 1.4 miles away. Peshastin Creek, a paddling spot, lies about 6.7 miles from the boulders.
