Grandma's House is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within the Wenatchee River Ranger District, about 3.5 miles from the Leavenworth weather station. The climbing here is split evenly between sport and trad routes, with sport routes such as Dragon's Lair at 5.8+ and Grandma's Pajamas at 5.10a, and trad routes like Adventures of Pinnochio at 5.11c. The median grade is 5.10-, with the hardest route, Enter the Dragon, at 5.12-. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Leavenworth station run from highs around 77°F in June to about 78°F in September, with fewer wet days in July and August. The station sits about 500 feet below the climbing area, so temperatures on the rock run a bit cooler. The closest climbing is The Beach, 0.1 mile away, and The Ogre, 0.2 mile away. Hikers can reach the Tumwater Penstock Trail within a mile, and the Tumwater Mountain Trail is about 1.8 miles off.
