The Parasol is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Piton Tower and Rattlesnake Rock each about 0.1 mile away. The area has seven routes, six of which are trad and one is sport. The grades run from 5.7 to 5.10b, with Drury Lane at 5.7 and Carpetbaggers at 5.10b. A Matter of Convenience and Drury Lane Variation are both 5.10a. Summer is the warmest stretch for climbing. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. Winter is cold, with January highs around 34°F and lows near 19°F. The Tumwater Penstock Trail and Tumwater Mountain Trail are both within about a mile and a half. Bridge Creek Group Site and Icicle Group Campground are each a little over 4 miles away.
