Dugout Cave is a bouldering area in the Snoqualmie Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington, about 4 miles from Cedar Lake. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with the Mount Washington Trail and the Mini-Mossy-Mammoth Boulder just 0.1 mile away. The area has six bouldering routes, all rated from V4 to V8 on the V scale. The hardest is The Dugout at V8, and the easiest is Pinch Hitter at V4. The routes are close together, so climbers can string several together in a short session. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the Cedar Lake weather station, about 4 miles away, show July and August highs around 70°F with only eight or nine wet days a month, while winter brings highs near 39°F and regular snow days. Tinkham Campground and the Cedar River, both about 6 miles away, offer camping and paddling. The Great Wall Trail is 0.7 mile off.
