Mt Washington is a climbing area in Washington, set within the Snoqualmie Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and the Iron Horse state park. The land is managed by State Park and Recreation, and the area sits about 0.1 mile from the Deception Wall and Shakespeare Wall climbing areas, which makes it easy to pair with those walls on a single visit. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from the Cedar Lake weather station, about 4.7 miles away, show July and August highs around 70°F with only eight or nine wet days a month, while winter brings highs near 39°F and regular snow days from December through March. The climbing at Mt Washington is all sport, with four routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.11c. The Semi-Tough route is the easiest at 5.9, and the hardest is Semian-Consciousness at 5.11c. Hall Creek Trail and Zig Zag Trail are both within a third of a mile, and Tinkham Campground is about 5 miles away.
