Colchuck Balanced Rock is a climbing area in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, part of the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington. The Forest Service manages the land. The area has 14 routes, with 11 of them done in trad style. Grades run from 5.6 up to 5.12+, and one route is a boulder problem at V2. Among the named routes are Scarface at 5.10+ and The Tempest at 5.12+. The closest neighbors are the Dragontail Peak Summit Trail and the Aasgard Pass Trail, both about 0.8 miles away, and the Dragontail Peak climbing area at 1.1 miles. For an overnight base, Eightmile Group Site is about 4.7 miles off.
