Central Park is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with the Main Area and Litter Box Boulder both about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is a mix of sport and mixed routes, with a few in the 5.7 to 5.10- range. The routes include 42nd Street (5.7, mixed), Fifth Avenue (5.9, sport) and No Barking (5.10-, sport). The area also has a trad route, A Walk in the Park (5.9, mixed), and the first ascents of many of these climbs date to the late 2000s and early 2010s. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 900 feet lower than the park, so temperatures here run cooler. For more time on foot, Bruce's Boulder Trail is 0.2 mile away and Snow Lakes Trail is 0.7 mile away.
