Barney's Rubble is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing and hiking spots, so it works well as a stop in a day of exploring the surrounding crags and trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter highs stay near 34°F with 14 wet days a month. Chaos Boulders and Icehouse are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and Bruce's Boulder Trail is a hike at the same distance. Snow Lakes Trail is about 0.8 mile off.
