Fir Tree Ledge is a climbing area in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Dropzone Area and The Bare Buttress both about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Skamania Fish Hatchery show July and August highs around 79 to 80°F, with only five or six wet days a month. Winter is much wetter, with about 20 wet days a month from December through March. Angels Rest, Cape Horn and the High Water Trail are all about 1.7 miles away. Gordon Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 5 miles off.
