Lake Trail is a short, nearly flat mountain biking route of about 1.6 miles, set in Lake Sylvia State Park in Washington. It runs in an out-and-back shape, with the low point at 121 feet and the high point at 135 feet, so there is no real climb to it. The trail falls within the park managed by State Park and Recreation, and the nearest town is Elma, about 9 miles away. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical July and August highs reach the upper 70s to around 80°F, with only about six to seven wet days a month, according to averages from a nearby weather station in Elma. Winter is much wetter, with highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days from December through February. The trail sits at the edge of the park's hiking network, with West Fork Trail, Joels Trail and Sylvia Ridge Trail all starting within about a tenth of a mile. Sylvia Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2 miles away.
