Fuzzy Top Trail is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail is about 1.3 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 517 feet, and it reaches a high point of 1,743 feet. The climb is steepest at about 0.5 miles in, with a grade of 25 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes lie within a mile, including C-2716, Porter and Wedekind. For paddling, Sherman Creek is about 2 miles away.
