C-2710 is a short, low-elevation mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It is an out-and-back ride of about 1.7 miles, with a round-trip elevation gain of 298 feet. The route starts at roughly 1,741 feet and reaches a high point of 1,778 feet before returning, so it is an easy addition to a longer day on the Porter network of trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. At the Olympia airport weather station, 14.6 miles away, July and August typically average highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the ride run cooler. Porter lies just 0.1 mile away, and C-2714 and C-2716 are each within about half a mile. For time on foot, the Porter Tie Trail is about 0.6 mile off.
