Crestline is a short, out-and-back mountain biking ride on state land in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The route is about 3.5 miles long and rises from roughly 2,191 feet to about 2,474 feet, with a total climb of about 763 feet. That makes it a modest, manageable outing, and the trail's steepest stretch comes at about 1.3 miles in, where the grade reaches about 16 percent. The low point of the climb sits near 2,134 feet, and the trip is symmetrical, with about 763 feet of descent on the way back. The route works well as a quick leg of a longer ride, since Wedekind lies about half a mile away and Porter is about a mile off. Porter Tie Trail is a hike about 1.3 miles from the route, and paddlers can reach South Fork Porter Creek about 1.4 miles away.
