C Road is a short mountain biking route in Washington, about 20 miles from the town of Prevost. It's an out-and-back ride of roughly half a mile, with a front-loaded climb that starts at 877 feet and peaks at 1,038 feet. The route gains about 220 feet in elevation, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.17 miles in, with a grade of 19 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Friday Harbor show July and August highs around 72 to 73°F, with only six to eight wet days a month. That station sits about 900 feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes lie close by. D Road and Viewpoint Trail are each about 0.3 miles away, and M-One and Blue Balls are about 0.4 miles off.
