Cyclops is a short, rolling out-and-back mountain biking route in Washington, set at about 1,645 feet with a high point of 1,645 feet. The climb is 0.8 miles long, with a total gain of 314 feet, and the route is rated moderate. The nearest town is Prevost, about 19 miles away. The route starts and ends at the same elevation, and the steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.17 miles in, with a 14% grade. The whole trip is under a mile, so it works well as a quick ride or a warm-up before heading to other trails in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Friday Harbor show July and August highs around 72 to 73°F with only six to eight wet days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes lie close by. T Road is 0.2 miles away, Rocky Mountain Ridge is 0.4 miles away, and Chicken Run I and Field of Dreams are each within about a mile.
