Bogeyman is a short mountain biking climb in Washington, about 20 miles from the town of Prevost. The route is an out-and-back that starts and ends at roughly 1,311 feet, with a high point of about 1,531 feet. The total climb is 778 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.28 miles in, with a grade of 19 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Friday Harbor show July and August highs around 72 to 73°F, with only six to eight wet days a month. That station sits well below the climb, so temperatures up high run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes lie close by. Danilyzer is about 0.1 mile away, and D Road and Chicken Run II are each about 0.2 mile off. Rocky Mountain Ridge is about 0.3 mile away.
