A Road is a short mountain biking route in Washington, about 20 miles from the town of Prevost. It is an out-and-back ride of roughly 1.3 miles, with a total climb of about 500 feet and a high point of about 1,130 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.6 miles, where the grade reaches 20%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Friday Harbor show July and August highs around 72 to 73°F with only six to eight wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on about 16 days.
