The Monolith is a bouldering area in Vermont's Manchester Ranger District, part of the Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forests. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within the national forest's boundaries. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 17 routes spread across the boulder field. The grades run from V1- to V11, with the median at V5. Among the named routes are Lemon Flavored Jesus (V1-), The Monolith (V7) and Monolith Arete (V9), and Witchcraft Assis is the hardest at V11. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit.
