F Crags is a climbing area in the San Rafael Reef Wilderness, on Bureau of Land Management land within the Price Field Office in southern Utah. It sits among a cluster of named crags, with N Crags, U Crags, P Crags and the Eastern Reef Area, also known as The Sandstone Alps, all about 0.1 mile away. That makes the area a natural grouping of crags to explore in one trip. The rock here is best suited to traditional climbers, with six trad routes among the nine listed. Sport climbing is also an option, with two sport routes, and one mixed route, Easy Street, rounds out the styles. The grade range runs from 5.8 up to 5.12-, with the median at 5.10b. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs near 68°F, while July averages climb to about 95°F. Nearby, the Sprit Arch and Petroglyph Panel Trail is about 3.8 miles away and the San Rafael River offers canoeing about 8.4 miles away.
