Winter Pass Trail is a mountain biking route in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Pleasant Grove Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is rated moderate. The route is a short stretch of flat ground. The low point is 7,417 feet and the high point is 7,424 feet, so the trail has no significant climb in either direction. It works well as a short ride or a connector between other trails in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sundance show July highs around 81°F with lows near 58°F, while winter highs sit in the low 30s. The South Fork Little Deer Creek Trail starts just 0.1 mile away and the Ridge Trail is 0.4 mile off. For an overnight stay, Altamont campground is about 1.6 miles away and Timpooneke Campground is about 2.2 miles away.
