Pine Hollow Trail is a mountain biking route in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Pleasant Grove Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail rises from about 6,739 feet to about 7,845 feet over roughly 1.8 miles, with a total elevation gain of 732 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Sundance, which sits about 1,200 feet lower, show July highs around 81°F and lows near 58°F. That station's figures are not directly comparable to the trail's higher elevation, so expect cooler temperatures on the climb. Pine Hollow Winter, a cross-country ski route, and the Salamander Flat Trail are both about 0.2 miles away. Altamont campground is 0.8 miles off, and Echo Reservoir, a fishing spot, is about 1.7 miles away.
