Snowbasin Trail is a mountain biking route in the Ogden Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It is a short ride of about 1.5 miles, with a total elevation gain of 220 feet, taking you from a low point of about 6,518 feet to a high of about 6,722 feet. The most comfortable months for riding are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Several other destinations are close by. Green Pond and Wheeler Creek-East Fork are both within a mile, and Maples Campground is about 1.7 miles away. The Snowbasin climbing area is about 1.9 miles off.
