L.4 Trail is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Utah, set within the State of Utah Forrest, Fire and State Lands; Sovereign Lands 8. The State Department of Natural Resources manages the land, and the trail is about a quarter mile from the nearest town, with a total length of half a mile and a low elevation gain of 34 feet. It is a moderate ride, with the high point at 4,630 feet and the low at 4,588 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July averages climb to about 96°F. The Sovereign (lower) trail lies about 0.2 miles away, and the Sovereign Trail (Lower) and Saltwash Trail are each within half a mile. For an overnight stay, Courthouse Rock Campground is about 4 miles off.
