Pole Creek Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in Utah's Fishlake National Forest, crossing the line between the Beaver and Fillmore Ranger Districts. The trail is about 4 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 548 feet, and it rises from a low point of about 6,111 feet to a high of about 6,669 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Fremont Indian State Park show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages about 90°F and winter brings highs in the low 40s and a few snowy days each month. Fish Creek Trail lies about a mile away, and Clear Creek offers canoeing about 1.5 miles off. Castle Rock - Rec Site is about 2.3 miles away, and Fremont State Park is about 2.4 miles away.
