Fremont State Park is a 4.2-mile out-and-back hike in Utah's Fishlake National Forest, within the Fillmore Ranger District. The trail rises from about 5,868 feet to about 6,267 feet, a climb of 394 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages about 90°F and winter brings highs in the low 40s and a few snowy days each month. The trail is open year-round, and the surface is natural. Bikes are allowed. Castle Rock - Rec Site and Clear Creek are both about a mile away, and the Alma Christensen and Fremont - Sam Stowe Cyn hikes start within a mile.
