Paradise Rim is a short, easy hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the St. George Field Office, about 0.2 miles from the town of St. George, Utah. The route is an out-and-back of about 0.46 miles, with a low point of 3,375 feet and a high of 3,415 feet, so the climb is only about 26 feet one way. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in St. George show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages about 102°F and January lows drop to around 28°F. Scout Cave and Gila are both about 0.2 miles away, and Kestral and Gecko are each about 0.8 miles off. Cougar Cliffs, a climbing area, sits about 0.9 miles away.
