Rusty Cliffs is a 6.6-mile out-and-back hike on the Bureau of Land Management's Red Cliffs National Monument in Utah. The trail starts at about 3,088 feet and climbs to a high point of 3,519 feet, with a total elevation gain of 518 feet. The route is rated moderate. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in St. George put April highs around 75°F with lows near 46°F, and October highs near 79°F with lows around 47°F. That station sits roughly 660 feet lower than the hike's high point, so temperatures on the cliffs run a little cooler.
