Mt. Terrill - Um Pass is a 5.8-mile out-and-back hike in Utah's Fishlake National Forest, within the Fremont River Ranger District. The route gains 742 feet in elevation, with the high point at 10,849 feet and the low at 10,271 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface makes it a straightforward walk for hikers and riders alike. The climb is moderate, and the trail is open year-round. Bikes are allowed, so it works for both walking and riding. The route is about 6 miles long, and the elevation gain is one way. Several other hikes lie within a mile or two, including Between the Forks, Left Fork Um and Seven Bull. For an overnight stay, Paiute Campground is about 5 miles away.
