Um Plateau is a hard hike of about 6.2 miles on the Fremont River Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 709 feet, rising from roughly 10,152 feet to about 10,855 feet. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so riders can take it as well as hikers. Emerald Lake lies about half a mile away, and the Great Western Trail Alternate is about a mile off. For an overnight stay, Harves River Cua Dispersed and Lower Farnsworth Cua Dispersed are both within about 5 miles.
