Long Hollow Trail is a 2.09-mile moderate hike in the Cedar City Ranger District of Dixie National Forest in southern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from about 7,769 feet to about 8,876 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,088 feet over a 4.2-mile round trip. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Brian Head weather station, which sits about 900 feet lower than the trail's high point, show July highs around 71°F with lows near 42°F, while winter highs there stay in the 20s. Crystal Springs Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Blowhard Trail is about 0.3 mile off. Cedar Canyon campground is about 1.2 miles away, and the climbing at Graveside Matter Slab is about 1.9 miles away.
