Gooseberry Creek is a 4.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Price Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 8,130 feet to about 8,454 feet, with a total elevation gain of 338 feet, and is rated hard. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Scofield-Skyline Mine show July highs around 74°F and lows near 48°F, while winter highs stay around 30°F. Bikes are allowed on the natural-surface trail. Gooseberry Reservoir campground sits about 2 miles away, and Gooseberry Creek Campground is about 3.6 miles off. Silver Creek and the South Spur of Silver Creek are both within about 2 miles.
