Nine Mile Ranch

Nine Mile Ranch is a working cattle ranch spanning over 1,000 acres in Wellington, Utah, operated by Ben Mead and his daughter Carla since 1991. The ranch serves as a gateway to Nine Mile Canyon, known as the world's largest outdoor petroglyph art gallery. Guests can stay in four original settler cabins rebuilt on the property, a bed and breakfast in the ranch house, or one of 18 campsites alongside Nine Mile Creek. The ranch hosts seasonal cattle drives in spring and fall and offers access to petroglyph sites and four-wheeling throughout the canyon. Nine Mile Ranch also hosts the annual Fall Gathering each September, featuring interpretive stops and meals celebrating the canyon's archaeology and cultural heritage.
