Clear Creek is a hard hike in the Richfield Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The route is an out-and-back of about 10.8 miles, with a one-way elevation gain of 1,527 feet, taking you from a low point of about 6,675 feet to a high of about 8,036 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Salina put July highs around 80°F with lows near 53°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. The trail is on natural surface and bikes are allowed. The hike is open year-round, and the Forest Service manages the land. Nearby, Steves Basin is about 1.5 miles away and Willow Springs about 2.2 miles. Salina Creek Second Crossing Trailhead, a campground, is also about 2.2 miles off. Twin Lake Campground lies about 8.7 miles away.
