Lake Martha is a fishing lake in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Salt Lake Ranger District. It sits in the Big Cottonwood drainage, and the nearest town is Brighton. The surrounding land is managed by the Forest Service. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. July brings typical highs around 72°F and lows near 47°F, according to averages from a nearby weather station at Silver Lake Brighton. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the lake, so temperatures on the water run a little cooler. Lake Mary and Lake Catherine are both about 0.3 miles away, and the Tahoe Simulator climbing area is 0.4 miles off. For an overnight stay, Albion Basin campground is about 1.2 miles away.
